Itinerary ideas around Bertchesgaden with cloudy weather

HI All,
Hoping you may have some suggestions for me. We are currently in Bertchesgaden and are having a wonderful time. We started with 2 days in Salzburg and then rented a car for 5 days in this area. Because the weather has been iffy w/ clouds and some rain since we arrived, we have not done Eagle's Nest, Jennerbahn or other "high views" since very cloudy (bird's eye view cams very helpful!)

We took the boat on Konigssee Lake to Salet and hiked to Obersee adn the Rothback Waterfall (stunning). Today we explored Ramsau (stopped at the church there and we were very proud of our basic german while we ordered and enjoyed ice cream served by a man who spoke no English but recognized my son's Patriot shirt "Tom Brady" ! From there we enjoyed the Wimbachlamm Gorge (had the whole place to ourselves!), Zauberwald and hiked on to Hintersee. Lovely day.

I am hoping you experienced travellers might have suggestions for day trip (say 1-2 hour each way). We have not yet done the Rosfeld Road so lmk if that may be worth doing. We enjoyed driving past Ramsau today and happened upon a stunning view, complete with a bench, where we enjoyed our packed lunch.

In closing: we have a rental car and 2 days left in this area. I originally ruled out Innsbruck because wanted more time outdoors here in this area. But with the weather being so iffy, should we drive there and explore. Also, we have not yet explored the shops or museum here (s Museum Scholoss Adeshein worth a visit?) so we have that too.

Please lmk any suggestions.
thanks so much,
Joanne

Not sure where you have been and this might be a bridge too far, but... Drive to Prien am Chiemsee and take a boat to the Neues Schloss Herrenchiemsee (Ludwig II). Tour will probably be in German, but I took the German tour and the Guide gave me some info in English. Take an Umbrella. Not sure exactly what the boat schedule is or for the Schloss on the Holiday. Could be all booked? Go early come back late. Might be worth a call:

14 May is German Mother's Day. Many restaurants will be packed for Mittagessen tomorrow.

Herrenchiemsee Palace.

Check the weather in Zell am See, 1.5 hours away.

A boat trip on the Wolfgangsee starting in St. Gilgen and it will take you to Strobl and St. Wolfgang. .all are worth a visit.

You are probably asleep now. Good suggestions above. I think Innsbruck is too far.

Visit a salt mine in Berchtesgaden or Hallein. Then Werfen Ice Caves, followed by Werfen Castle

Depending on rain. Drive to Ruhpolding. There's nice path by a narrow river which you can walk for quite a way. Return and grab a coffee in Ruhpolding. There's a nice church up the hill, St Georg, which has an amazing little cemetery (the cemetery itself equal to that in Ramsau). Drive to Bad Reichenall for lunch and a walk around: the main core is an attractive place, some of the residential areas off to the sides are worth a wander, there is also a riverside path.
