I checked flight prices from Raleigh Durham to Berlin with a return flight from Vienna back to Raleigh Durham for July, 2016 with 1800flyeurope. Their flight prices were $400. less per ticket than all the other travel and airline sites. The flights were with American and British Airlines. I wanted to know if anyone else has used this company. Their flight prices seem too good to be true.
Their prices are indeed $400 below finding the same flights on AA or BA (trials both on their sites, and on ItaMatrix, for Tuesdays in July). Web reviews seem okay, but note they are over two years old. I would suggest the usual caveats apply when booking third party, make certain that you have gotten exactly what you have requested at the price they claim (happened to us one, there was a bait and switch and the connector we were offered was never going to be given), should any issue arise with the flights you won't be able to resolve this directly with the airlines, and you will be at the end of the line for seating. That is a major price difference and it does indeed raise concerns as to whether it really exists. Might be worth a call to their customer service.
Often these cheap fares are bait...they'll publish a low price and then, when you actually begin looking more in depth, you'll be quoted that price + taxes and fees which brings it up to prices that are similar to other sites.
Sometimes the prices will be cheap because there are crazy-long layovers involved (i.e. Aeroflot) or they will simply say that there are no seats left at that price, while quoting you similar fares as other places.
Usually if it's too good to be true, it is.
