Is anyone else getting blocked by DB's firewall?

I don't know what's going on, but I was on DeutscheBahn today, trying to look for some train times, and it wouldn't let me on. I kept getting a message saying that I wasn't allowed to access their site.

I tried turning off the power to my router, letting it sit for about 15 minutes, and turning it back on to see if the IP address changed, and that didn't work, then I tried using an eSIM that I have on my phone, and no luck there, I turned off Wi-Fi, that didn't work. I tried 2 other browsers besides Chrome and cleared my cache and nothing. I pretty much tried everything, and I can't access it. I wonder if it is just me or if anyone else is having this problem. Thanks!

EDIT: After I posted this, I went on Reddit and was checking there. There was a message from someone on the Deutsche Bahn subreddit that said that their website is down. So that's probably it.

Working for me.

Some sites changed their Cloudflare settings after the PHP exploit recently.

The website is working fine in the UK as I write.

I can’t access it (bahn.de) right now. It was working fine yesterday so perhaps try again tomorrow during business hours.

The person on Reddit I talked to is in the US, so I think that’s the problem. For some reason, people over here are not going to be able to access DB for right now. Hopefully they’ll fix the problem soon.

Laura, thanks for the input. That all makes me think that this is a US issue right now.

I don’t know what’s going on, Russ, but I think it’s something to do with the fact that we’re in the US. There must be some problem with their website and it’s blocking US ISP from accessing their site. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

I'm currently in Europe and was trying to use the DB app. It wouldn't work.

I was using a VPN set to the US. When I turned it off, the app worked fine. I thought it was the VPN itself but perhaps it's blocking IP addresses from the US.

Glad to hear it's nothing personal, that they've just had it with all of us over here.

If just checking times and not buying tickets don't forget that Swiss Railways (SBB) covers the whole of Europe.
Although I think SBB does actually sell German rail tick as well.

For the UK it is streets ahead of any TOC or National Rail, there is no comparison in terms of clarity and depth of information also speed of response. It is up to date as well in terms of engineering work.
