We will be in Berlin for 2.5 days and was wondering which tour company is best. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Either choice is good IMO. I've read good reviews for both companies and I believe they tour the same spots in Berlin. I will say that I emailed Original Berlin Walks about a tour and they were very prompt about a reply.

I took two of the Original Berlin Walks when I was there because they were recommended to my by a friend. Both guides were excellent and I loved both tours. I did the general orientation to Berlin walk and the Potsdam walk.

They are both probably equally good.
Which one has the themes that interest you the most and has the time that match yours? Read the reviews on Trip Advisor to see what others thought, both the good ones and the bad ones. See if there is a consistency.
Have only done Insider tours, so can't say much about the other company.
