Ideas of where to stay in Berlin for 3 adults - Mom, Dad and Son

My husband and I will be joining our 21 year old son in Berlin in the middle of March. Our son is studying abroad in Rome and the three of us will be in Berlin for 4 days, before heading to Italy. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out a neighborhood to stay in and a hotel that will accommodate 3 adults. I had also been looking at airbnb, but we are concerned that after flying all night, we won't want to deal with phone and wifi issues to contact the airbnb owner.

Any thoughts on a decent hotel in a central neighborhood that has larger rooms for 3 adults. Ideally I'd like to stick to about $150/night or less. Thanks so much!

Pension Peters has Family rooms for 3 adults for under your budget. Pleasant neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby, transportation, great friendly staff, nice breakfast (small extra cost). Not far from the Zoo Bahnhof.

Pension Peters looks great, but unfortunately they are sold out for two of the nights. Maybe something else in that neighborhood? I shouldn't be such a last minute traveler!

There is a Wyndham not too far away for even less, but never stayed there. Wyndham has been buying up hotels in Germany and offering great rates. We stayed in one in Cologne and were quite happy.

We've stayed at Hotel Augustinenhof a few times and it's great. Perfect area to explore Mitte and very reasonably priced.
