Hi, we’ll be arriving in FRA airport approximately half past noon on a Tuesday & wish to purchase a ticket for an ICE train to Erfurt.
It seems we can only purchase tickets with the exact time, however we don’t know how long it’ll take to get our luggage & get through customs…
As far as I can remember DB office at the airport is before customs correct? or after we get through customs? That would help - then we can more likely pinpoint what time we would like to catch the soonest train..

The DB Reisezentrum (ticket office) is after you go through immigration and get your luggage (customs) at the airport train station. You can just walk in and buy a ticket for the next train.
I do not see any direct trains. Best option looks like an S-Bahn to Frankfurt Hbf, then change to a direct ICE to Erfurt. Other options have multiple connections and take longer.

Normally there shall be a direct ICE train (see line 50 in network map) but trying a search for a direct connection is not successful.
