I posted a question and I can not find it anymore :-(

Have I done anything wrong, when I asked about a transportation company in Europe to hire a chauffeured minivan? I did not mean to break any rules.

It certainly isn't there.
I didn't see the original question, so can't comment on its content.

Can I suggest you click on Community Guidelines by using the link at the bottom of the page and read through the rules. If that doesn't answer why it may have been taken down click through to the Webmaster (a very nice guy by the way) and ask for clarification. You can see the link in Guideline number 6 and below number 10.

Sorry you got zapped.

thank you for the follow up. I checked, but have not found anything against the rules. Nevermind, will try elsewhere or in different thread. Or maybe I will just book the service, I was trying to get some feedback on...

Linda, if you go to your lists of posts ( https://community.ricksteves.com/users/817607/posts ), it is showing two:

If you click on the second one, you get a "page not found" error. So, either you deleted it accidentally, or the webmaster did. If you don't know what rule you transgressed, I have no idea why it is missing.

Occasionally I've gotten the "Page Not Found" error and, shortly later, been able to reach the post. I've wondered whether it had something to do with website maintenance, or perhaps the post was being moved to a more suitable forum when I originally tried to access it.

I typed a reply to your post and when I clicked on 'add reply' I got that message so I thought it had been deleted. If you didn't delete it yourself then I would contact the webmaster and ask what happened. Under the 'contact information' section at the bottom of the page you can email the webmaster.

I've had the exact same experience. Sometimes it comes back a few days later.

The fastest way to find your posts, if you don't have too many of them, is to click on your name, then click "View Topics linda.brooke Has Participated In". Doing that, as others said, shows your post under Transportation, but when you click on it, it's unavailable. I agree with everyone else - ask the Webmaster: https://www.ricksteves.com/forms/contact-webmaster
