How to get from Munich to Berchtesgaden Salt Mines and a Bob Run

We will be in Munich in July. Would love to take the kids to the Salt Mines and Bob Run but we will not have a car.
Does anyone know what type of transportation we can use and if we can do both things in one day?
Any advice is welcome!! Thank you!

I have no idea what "Rob Run" is, but it would be easy to get to the salt mines from Munich. Use a Bayern-Ticket and take a regional Meridian train to Freilassing, where you connect to a local train to Berchtesgaden. There are several buses, included with the Bayern-Ticket, from the Berchtesgaden Hbf to the salt mines.

I think its a "Bob run", one of those mountain snowless bobsleds if I am not mistaken.

A dry bobsled run would be called a Sommerrodelbahn, in German. I don't think there are any in Berchtesgaden, but there is one, called the Keltenblitz, nearby, in Dürrnberg, Austria. The Hallein Salzwerk in also next door, about a km away on foot or 6 minutes by twice hourly bus. Take the S3 out of Salzburg about 24 minutes to Hallein Bhf, then, 10 minutes later, the 41 bus 10 minutes to the Salzwerk. That's the same bus that goes on to the Rodelbahn.

Use the Bayern-Ticket to get to Salzburg. The entire trip from Munich to the Salzwerk by Meridian train, S-Bahn, and bus will take about 2H40M
