A group of us (6-10) are planning a trip to 2016 Oktoberfest and are looking to rent a house or apartment for 4-7 days. Does anyone have any connection or leads on place near the Oktoberfest grounds or on the subway with easy access to the grounds?

It's already getting late to find reasonable accommodations in convenient locations (all the convenient Motel1 are already booked for oktoberfest 2016!). Try to pick something soon. Home rentals exist but they might be difficult to find unless your German is good. I'd recommend asking on the Munich forums at toytowngermany.com. Most peer to peer room rental services operate in munich as well (airbnb, vrbo, Craigslist, etc).
Be prepared to spend several thousand Euros.
