I'm looking for recommendations for moderately-priced hotels. One in Wiesbaden near the old city center. And one at/near Frankfurt airport. Traveling in September, on public transportation.

For Frankfurt Airport, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. Very nice.
Five minute walk, indoors, to one terminal or the bus to take you to the others.

It looks great, but that's more expensive than we are looking for. I'm hoping to keep it under $250 if possible.

Is there a reason why you are staying at the airport? You can easily get to the airport from Wiesbaden if you are staying there.
Hilton Garden Inn is the cheapest hotel at the airport itself, otherwise, you would need to look in Frankfurt itself or simply stay in Wiesbaden.

Wiesbaden is at the beginning of our trip. Frankfurt is two weeks later, and we will be traveling from Cochem then. We've now found a good deal at the Radisson at the Frankfurt airport and booked that.
