Based upon descriptions on booking.com, I have booked a couple hotels that I would appreciate comments on regarding quality and location. In Boppard, I have the Hotel Rebstock for two nights and in Munich, I have the hotel Eder for three nights. I am led to believe that the Eder is close to the HBF and provides easy access to the old town etc. Thoughts anyone.

Hi Gary- since you used Booking.com to make reservations, Booking has a good description & location on a map. I checked the Munich property and noticed it is a 5 story hotel with no lift which would be a non-starter for me. The location is halfway between 2 streetcar stops and is OK, but you could probably do better if you tried.
