I am interested in hearing about hotels that offer rooms that will accommodate a family of 5 in the same room in Munich. Two adults with 3 kids ages 15, 12, and 9. Would like a safe area that is not too far from the train station. We would be staying for 2 nights.

Hotel Uhland is a centrally located hotel that gets good reviews. I have not personally stayed there, however, my daughter's family of four stayed there last year and it worked well as far as comfort, a big family room and located by the train station. You'll not find a better located hotel than the Viktualienmarkt. We stay there all of the time. It's clean, not too expensive and includes a very nice breakfast.
