Traveling to Frankfurt from Heidelberg via train for one night before a noon flight the next day from FRA to the U.S.
Looking for hotel suggestions that are convenient for our arrival by train and departure from the airport.
We hope to spend part of the day and the last evening of a month long trip just walking around the central area and having an interesting dinner.
Preference would be a Hyatt, Hilton, or IHG property that we can book with points.

I would stay at the Hilton City Center. It is a 5 min. walk from the Hauptwache station and the trains here will take you to the airport or get you there from the Hauptbahnhof ( main station). The hotel backs up on the park that surrounds the city center where the medieval wall used to be and is a 1 min. walk from a large guard tower built in 1428. You will be about 10-15 min. walk from the old city center where the new Alt Stadt is located next to the Main, with 2 medieval churches and Franconford archeology.
If you want a little more organize in your wanderings around, a great walking tour can be had from Frankfurt on Foot https://www.frankfurtonfoot.com/. They know their stuff and are fun too.
They have both a show up and go tour every day, and can do private tours too.
Plenty of dinner choices in Frankfurt.
