Hotel Near Munich International Airport

Any suggestions about a hotel to stay at near or at the Munich airport with a shuttle. Thanks

My recommendation is avoid the Moxy. We stayed there several years ago, and decided it is designed for young people who don't expect much from a hotel. Several of the "technology" things didn't work right (night light under the bed that was supposed to be motion detection flashed on and off all night). As I recall, the food options seemed to be from an automat-type system, just one step above vending machines.

I stayed at the Novotel in the summer of 2021 but it didn't have a shuttle. My research at that time didn't come up with hotels with a free shuttle but maybe I didn't search enough. There is a regular bus that stops at the Novotel leaving the airport - think it was the 350 but you can easily double check. The Novotel did the job for the 8-10 hours we were there - late arrival from Corfu and return to Denver the next morning. I got the cheapest rate without breakfast since I had access to the LH Senator lounge.

This is 15 minutes from the airport.

We stayed at the Best Western Park Hotel in Erding. Loved our stay here and a few minutes walk to the old town or train station. They offer shuttle service for an extra charge. They arranged for a cab, as we needed to get a 7 am flight. They put out a small breakfast at 4am just for us. The desk person also noticed my wife’s fractured big toe (happened on our trip) and called the airlines to get ensure her an aisle seat with me next to her.

Freising has several hotels, e.g. the well known Bayerischer Hof, has an interesting historical center and good connections by bus and S-Bahn to the airport.
