Looking for a Hotel along train line to Munich airport within an hour or so for a solo traveler in the $150 range…will be coming in from Italy…have a late morning flight July 3…thanks for any recommendations

Why don't you go ahead and go to the Munich Airport? The Hilton Munich Airport on the airport property should fit your price range.
That way you won't be so hurried and can take your time getting on your flight.

We like to stay at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Freising (105 Euros for a solo). Freising is an attractive small town with several restaurants. We like the Wirthaus Weissbräu Huber for supper.
Freising is about 15-20 minutes by train or bus from the train station (Bahnhof) to the MUC airport - Bus 635 or Regional Express Train RE22. Transportation costs about 4 euros per person. You reach Freising on the Sbahn from the Munich Hauptbahnhof.

Hotel Gastof Maisberger. Located directly next to the S1 station in Neufahrn. 10 minutes to airport. Large rooms, good prices, renowned restaurant and getting to the airport couldn’t be easier.

We liked the BW Park Hotel in Erding. About 15 minutes from the airport. Lovely old town in walking distance from the hotel.

check the hilton at the airport on priceline. I just check some same dates on both and priceline was significantly cheaper - by 80.00 or so.
