We are taking a bike and boat tour on the Danube in early May, leaving from Passau. We are planning to fly to Munich the day before and then take the train down to Passau. Would like to stay in a hotel near to where the boat is moored. Any recommendations are appreciated. Also any words of advice on things to see in Passau before we meet the boat around 3pm.

We stay one Christmas Season in the Hotel Kónig in Passau. It was very nice and on a cliff over looking the travel cruise docking area. There were several hotels in that area. Old Town Passau is not that large. Many hotels are within walking Distance.
