Can someone suggest a hotel in old town Dusseldorf for the night before a river cruise? Doesn't have to be luxurious, just clean and comfortable. Thanks much

Sorry, but it looks like none of us have stayed in the old town itself. I can recommend the Steigenberger Parkhotel from my business travel days. It my be close enough to the old town to meet your needs. I have never had a bad stay at a Steigenberger property.
