Does anyone know of a good hotel/bed and breakfast in Bingen? We would prefer being close to the train station. Thanks!

Why Bingen. Hotel Königshof in Mainz is right across the Bahnhofsplatz from the Mainz Hbf, from which you can catch trains to the middle Rhine gorge. The Mainz Hbf is half an hour by train from Bingen.
There are two train stations in Mainz. The main station, Bingen Hbf is not close to any hotels. The other, smaller station, Bingen Stadt Bahnhof, is near the KD boat dock.

Hotel Konigshof is booked on the days we are interested in. We want to be able to access the Rhine but be close enough to Frankfurt airport to make our departure. We would prefer to stay in Bingen rather than Mainz.

The NH Bingen is located in a very scenic spot right on Bingen's river promenade. Breakfast and the view from the breakfast area are exceptional. Ask for a room on the river side rather than the street side. It would be difficult to get closer to Bingen Hbf, the main station in Bingen; that said, it might be a 10-minute walk or so.
The NH Bingen is the large white building next to the point where the rivers meet, just to the left of the bridge you see in this photo. The main station is across that bridge from the hotel.
