Hotel Garni Gunther (Boppard)

I think you may find that very, very few hotels in the area have ac. I’m researching Boppard for a trip next summer, and so far the only rooms I’ve found in Boppard with ac are the superior rooms with river view at the Bellevue Hotel. Not ALL the rooms at the Bellevue have ac, just those. And of course those book up fast. There’s no availability for next summer even. I’m guessing the tour groups book them way in advance. Please let me know if you find any other options in Boppard.

There’s one hotel in Oberweisel that advertises ac: Hotel Weinhaus Weiler.

Oh my goodness. Truth is, we have never concerned ourselves with air conditioning because we generally travel in April-May or November-December, but being in August AND the current heat wave has certainly got us looking for it. We may not need it, but I'd still like to have access to it.

Ask for a fan. Some places have them, but don't advertise them. Better than nothing. Keep the rollos/curtains down during the day and windows closed, especially on the south side.
