Is there a hotel near the airport in Munich where I can spend the night before a morning flight and have a car take me to the airport?

I think there are hotels right at the Munich airport; no car needed. But I wouldn't' want to pay for a night there.
There are a lot of hotels in nearby Freising. Some are within walking distance of the bus stop at the Freising Bahnhof, from which it is about a 20 min ride to the airport. Buses leave every 20 minutes.

We really liked our stay at the Best Western Park Hotel in Erding, about 20 minutes from the airport. Easy walk into the nice old town from here. Train station is just a short couple of blocks away. Don't know about shuttle service there, but a cab cost both of us 25 Euro at 5am from the hotel to the airport. They even set up a small breakfast for us at 4am. We were the only ones at breakfast at that time.

It's not directly by the airport, but about 15 minutes away by taxi:
I'm pretty sure a bus stops at the front door, but I could be wrong. If not, the nearest Sbahn stop is Alterding, about a 15 minute walk away.

We have stayed in Freising about 10 times now. It is as Lee says about 15-20 minutes from the airport. We arrange a taxi at our hotel, the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. The Gasthaus Weissbier Hüber is a great last meal in country. Freising is a pretty small town with a wealth of cafes and tourist services.

You might want to look at the new MOXY hotel- it is a Marriott which is much closer to the airport than any of those in Freising or Therm Eding
