Hop on hop off tours in Berlin

We are looking at the Becks hop on hop off tours,.
There are 3 tours
One is the tour of the main Berlin sites
The second one is of more newer hip sites of Berlin
The third is a boat tour on the spree
Q: can anyone recommend which of these tours are worth doing and how many days should we do the tours?

I generally go with a day transport ticket. Public bus, tram, U-bahn, and S-bahn service is frequent, although you don't get to see much scenery from the U-bahn and some of the S-bahns.
The 100 bus is double decker and great views if you can snag some of the front seats.
