My friend and I will be traveling to Stein, Germany, Lech, Austria and Colmar, France in August. We are 71 years old and are seasoned travelers. We are not interested in renting a car, but would like to hire a driver for the 10 days that we are there. Any suggestions for us ?

Hi you can try Taxi and Touring ala Carte. It is owned by a husband and wife team. We hired Christoff a couple of years ago for 3 days in France and we were so happy with his service. I know he drives all over Europe so it would t hurt to contact him.

In several European cities I have used " daytrip" and " welcome wagon" with excellent results for transportation from the doors of one hotel in a city to the steps of another hotel( a day long trip from Granada to Seville with sightseeing stops for example). Not a hire for an entire 10 days. I plan to use them again in this fall in Germany.
