Traveling to munich next sept. Want to rent a premium car (audi,BMW,mercedes) and travel around germany, then drive to austria. Italy and switzerland Any rental car companies that allow premium cars to travel across these borders? Tia

Try using AutoEurope for your search. Those cars are pretty common. You should have no trouble crossing this borders.

other things to consider - your IDP as well as your home drivers license; the Vignette for Austria before you cross the border; the Vignette for Switzerland before you cross the border; learn the National speed limits for each country you are entering, they are different from country to country; for driving in Italy understand the ZTL.

Some rental companies will not allow you to take a higher end car into Italy rented in Germany.
