HELP! 10 countries in 5 weeks!

Okay, all of you savvy travelers, our trip is upon us. We are leaving in a few weeks, looking forward to seeing our girl! I have watched videos and read the books but I'd like some advice from you guys that have visited these place in the last few months. In Germany, we will be in Nuremberg, along the Romantic Road, Rhine River Valley, up around Castle Eltz, and Baden-Baden. Are there any experiences, whether a musical concert, a bike ride, a memorable meal, a great city tour... whatever you loved that you could recommend would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, fellow travelers!

Unless you are headed for Alsace after, I would eliminate Baden-Baden

Baden-Baden is fine if you are interested in a spa experience. As a Black Forest experience, no.

If you like Italian food, try this place : https://www.padelleditalia.de/de/

My husband says it's one of the best meals he's ever had. It's small so make a reservation. We had our hotel call for us. And speaking of hotels, Hotel Victoria there was our favorite hotel of our two weeks in Germany

I agree with Stephen. Baden-Baden wouldn't be my idea of the Black Forest. Have you considered booking a night in Gengenbach and use the Kronus pass to explore the middle of the Schwarzwald, and it's cute towns of Triberg, Furtwangen, Alpirsbach and Freudenstadt?

Another vote for dropping Baden Baden. If you really are planning 10 countries in 5 weeks, it seems you’re more interested in checking the “I was there” box rather than actually seeing any 1 or 2 countries. Burg Eltz was very nice as was Nuremberg. Have a fun time.

Franconia has the highest concentration of Breweries in the world so if you are in Nuremberg an easy day trip is to walk part or all of the Fünf Siedla Steig.
