My husband wants to spend one night in Bremen in late September as he is interested in the Hanseatic League. We will have spent four nights in Hamburg before Bremen and have spent three nights in Lubeck on a previous trip.
I would love recommendations for a hotel in the historic area and also any recommendations for Hanse walking tours (if such a thing exists).
We would like an area that's safe at night and has some good restaurant options nearby. We are seniors (61 and 74) and not interested in night clubs. We would prefer a 3 or 4 star hotel that's easy to get to on public transportation as we will not have a car.
Please suggest some good places to stay.
