We will be in Hamburg for one day in early September. Are there any walking or harbor tours that anyone could recommend to us please? Thank you.
Maybe you know already: ratings and feedbacks from participants of tours you can search and read on TripAdvisor.
Tip: in combination with a day ticket the HVV bus line 111 can be used little bit like hop-on-hop-off for sightseeing. Of course you will not get comments on what you see on a public bus line but with a good guide book you can have a nice rund trip. See details (German, click on the pdf at page bottom).
There is only one english language harbor tour daily at noon.
More details here:
But of course there are few more providers:

Hi,
Go to "Landungsbrücken" for harbor tours. Taking the S-Bahn from Hamburg Hbf is one station over. Info on tours is across the street once you get on street level at Landungsbrücken station. Landungsbrücken is also where the HI Hostel is located and close by to that is the famous Bismarck statue.
For bus tours some of them board on Kirchenallee, boarding on the island in front of Hotel Fürst Bismarck.
