Hi there - Rick's Germany book only recommends unguided port tour in Hamburg - but they only offer one tour a day, at noon, which conflicts with our free tour of Hamburg that morning.
He doesn't seem too keen on the other alternative, the Hop-On, Hop-Off Boat Trip.
Any other suggestions? We're there just for one day. Thanks!
There are several boat tours with English comments. Just google them - I was also listing a few in an earlier answer to a different post. For a rough port impression without comments you can also take one of the HVV ferries (e.g. line 62 to Finkenwerder and back) - of course without comments and not driving the same route as a boat tour.
