Hello, I shall be traveling to Germany soon and am interested in visiting one of the classic spas, namely Kaiser Friedrich Therme in Weisbaden. I wear glasses and am really blind as a bat without them and I am worried that I will not be able to wear my glasses in most of the facilities at the spa and therefore it may not be worth my time. Can anyone confirm if going to a spa like the one that I mentioned is worth it for glasses wearers who feel uncomfortable without them? Thanks.
Have you familiarized yourself with the current closed or restricted areas at the therme? Those may or may not influence your interest in visiting there, regardless of the glasses issue.
We went to a spa in Baden-Baden and there was only one room where my glasses steamed up. The rest of the time they were fine.

Probably your best source of info
If there a problem with that spa, just go a short ways down the road to Bad Homberg and the Kur Royal. https://www.kur-royal.de/en
I don’t know about German spas, but am also very nearsighted and in a similar scenario involving water, swimming pools, I made the revelatory discovery some years ago of prescription swim goggles, which make all the difference. You don’t need to have them custom made for your exact prescription, rather, companies like Speedo make them in a range of different strengths, like drugstore reading glasses, and you order the strength closest to your prescription. They aren’t too expensive, $15 or $20 a pair, and easy to find in online shopping. It won’t be as precise as you would want for your regular glasses but it will be plenty good enough to see well at the pool, both in the water and out.
a couple of observations -
I regularly go to various locations of German therme although it has been many years since I have patronised Wiesbaden.
I wear glasses, in fact varifocal photochromic ones. I have never had an issue wearing glasses into any facility, and I wear them in the pool and water toys areas. I wear them in the steam room, but have to take them off to see anything. I wear them into medium and cooler saunas, I leave them in the mini-locker if I'm heading into a hot sauna.
My frames are metal and plastic and a hot sauna would burn my nose and face if I had them on. It may also soften the plastic. No thanks.
No issues elsewhere.
One thought, I have found that there is often mist and spray around the waterfalls and water toys, makes a mess of the glasses. I give them a quick dunk under the water, shake them off, and good to go again.
Bottom line - no worries.
Cameras and phones and camera glasses are completely prohibited beyond the entry. I tend to leave them locked up in the car in the garage, or in a mini-locker.
I wear my glasses in the spa. The spas have a small glasses rack outside of each sauna or steam room on which you place your glasses rather than wearing them inside. Welcome to Germany...someone thought this through. Kaiser Wilhelm is a great spa.
Thanks all for the input.
