My friend and I are traveling to Germany next Wednesday - Flying into Frankfurt and then staying in Hirschberg about and hour south of Frankfurt. We have a car and about 5 days to explore (we return the day before Thanksgiving). What are some non-misses? We would love to hit a Christmas Market if you know of any great ones that will be open, we would love to see a great castle or two, we are super open to any sort of suggestions. We have Rick's book and plan to explore where the wind takes us, but there are lots of good tips out there and we will take 'em!
We are late 20s girls, love art and food and shopping (flea markets are our favorite) and we dig museums.
