The German government now says visitors who have been fully vaccinated or have had Covid will no longer have to test or quarantine when visiting Germany. This does not apply to visitors from countries with a high variant count. The U.S. is good.

I read this article yesterday about the quarantine period being eliminated for vaccinated people, but I have not read anything about the easing of requirements related to reason for entering Germany. I know a US young man who is to get married in late August in Germany — has not seen his German bride in person in nearly 18 months due to COVID.
