Holding a ticket on LH leaving on 9/2 to Germany for a 3-week trip. Now more uncertainties ahead ... But I guess compared to the US, or even the state of Massachusetts which holds the nation's 2nd place in terms of vaccination rate, Germany is still in a much better place? News coming out of Singapore today that singles out Germany (and Brunei) as the two launching nations for its "vaccinated travel corridor" is also encouraging (see: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-08-19/singapore-s-vaccinated-travel-easing-starts-with-germany-brunei).
