Hi,
Any recommendations for a "modest" non-nude spa in the Black Forest region? I'm traveling with my girlfriend and 16-year old son, and well, the nude thing would just be too awkward (we're silly Americans!).

To use the main facilities you must wear a suit. Only in the saunas must you be nude. That is the case for all saunas throughout Europe, for sanitary reasons, and you must have a towel between you and the bench.
I've been to that Therme many times and like it very much.....
Searching in Germany - there are many, every place with Bad or Baden in the name - use the German expression Therme instead of spa.
The nudity is not sexual.

I know by experience of three spas in the Black Forest - at Bad Herrenalb, Freudenstadt, and Bad Wildbad. The first two have "family areas with large swimming pools, but the sauna areas are Kleiderfrei (clothing prohibited). The one at Bad Wildbad is nude from the time you come in.
According to Rick, one of the spas in Baden-Baden is nude but the genders a separated except to one pool at the end.
