Would like feed back on the following itinerary for 2 experienced travelers. Dpt USA 22 Sep, sleep 2 nights In MUC area ( Oktoberfest) pick up car drive to Regensburg (2 nights explore ) 27/29 Sep drive to and sleep Linz AUS ( tour Muthausen), 20/01 Oktober Innsbruck . 01 Oktober to 05 lodging (base ) in Pfronten, Germany tour area 06 OKtober over night inMUC area for fly on 07 back to USA BROKE . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Len

That would work for me. You may want to take a day and drive over to Lake Constanz from Pfronten. Have a good trip. There's a chance I'll be in that area around then too.

I lived in Germany for four years and did the Oktoberfest three times. If you can't find a hotel in Munich, consider staying in Augsburg, 50 miles west of Munich and a short train ride.
Why did your leave out Salzburg, Austria, Berchtesgaden, Germany and Garmish/Fussen, Germany?
