This may be a silly question and the answer is "when it gets dark!" but I can't find this online anywhere. I'm trying to be in Garmisch to see the Johannisfeuer in June. Do they just get lit at/after sunset? Or is there any other time they start?
Any other tips to know re: best viewing spots?

Thank you! I was looking to stay in Garmisch so focused on what you can see from there. I was able to find it on another site though and it looks like it starts at 9:00 PM.
