Fussen to Paris with German Rail Pass?

I'm traveling through Germany and France in June and can't decide between a rail pass or point to point tickets. The determining factor is the trip from Fussen to Paris. Can someone tell me if I buy the German Rail pass, will the DB rail ticket from Fussen to Paris be covered? What if I buy the 2-country pass for France and Germany? I've been looking online for over an hour and can't seem to find the answer. Thank you in advance!

A German Rail Pass is only valid in Germany, it will cover you to the last station in Germany (technically, to the last German-owned station the train stops at). When you decide on which train you want to take to Paris, and which route (this will involve a number of changes of train), you need to look up on a map to determine which station this is, and buy a ticket from there to Paris.

Buying a 2-country pass would also cover the complete trip, but if you aren't doing any other rail trips in France this would probably cost more.

Sample train times from Füssen to Paris (there are earlier and later trains you could take), obtained from https://www.bahn.com/en/view/index.shtml

Füssen dep 09:05, RB 57341, Augsburg Hbf arr 10:56
Augsburg Hbf dep 11:03, ICE 598, Mannheim Hbf arr 13:29
Mannheim Hbf dep 13:40, TGV 9552, Paris Est arr 16:55

TGV 9552 has the following stops, Saarbrücken would be the last German stop:

Mannheim Hbf 13:38
Kaiserslautern Hbf 14:21
Saarbrücken Hbf 15:00
Paris Est 16:55

The German Rail pass is in fact valid to several destinations outside Germany. According to this DB German Rail flyer, Paris is included. However, for Paris the GRP is valid only on the German Railways IC Bus, not on the trains.

I have no idea about this Paris route and can find no specific sources for information for it - what dates and hours it may run, or where you end up in Paris exactly. Anyone else?? The flyer above is linked to at DB's main German Rail Pass page.

I've used the IC buses myself on the Munich-Zagreb route and Prague-Nuremberg. They're quite nice as buses go.
