I am wanting to visit Highline 179 in October this year. We will be staying in Fussen. What is the easiest way to travel from Fussen to Ruette and return the same day? We do not have a car rental. Was wondering if there might be a private car hire for the day?

Welcome first time poster. There is a bus that takes 30 minutes.
Looks like two buses with a change at Reutte Bahnhof. Bus from Füssen to Reutte Bahnhof, then bus # 150 from there to a stop ¼ mi from the bridge.
