We have stayed at the Hotel zum Hechten in the past. They don’t have availability for our stay this winter. Can anyone recommend a place VERY close to Fuessen? Pensions and such are fine with us.
We are coming from Hall in Tirol and want to stay just one night before our flight home from Munich at 4pm. the next day. This is our last night in Europe. We’ve done our last nights in Berchtesgaden and Hall in Tirol before similar late afternoon flights home to USA.
Hi. Two weeks ago we stayed three nights at the Hotel Sonne in Fussen. Ideal location, very clean, lovely staff and well priced.

Someone posted about this recently and the two most recommended were the hotel the prior poster suggested and the Best Western. I stayed in the Best Western back in May and it is very nice and conveniently located.

I'd recommend Schwangau Castle Brewery for food and a great outdoor eating area.
