From Berlin to Saxon Switzerland/Bohemian Switzerland

Hi,

I am planning a day trip to Saxon/Bohemian Switzerland parks. The plan is to drive from Berlin (very early morning) stop at Rakotzbrücke and then to Bastei bridge (with a short hike). I would then like to visit the Pravcicka Gate and do a dinghy ride of the Kamenice Gorges. Is this all doable in one day? I don't mind long drives, plus I am not going back to Berlin but spending the night in Dresden. Any advice in this regard would be helpful as I have never been to this part of the world. Thanks

If you mean full 24 hours maybe. But it is not all open or recommended during night. So, the answer is no. Plan min. 2 days. Be aware that not all rental car companies allow x-border transit of their cars or even few classes.

Thanks so much for your reply. I was only wondering because google map shows that Hrensko is a 38 min drive from Saxon Switzerland park. My understanding is that Hrensko is where you start the walk for the Gorges and the Pravcicka gate. So I was thinking why I shouldn't be able to visit the Bohemian side after seeing the Bastei bridge. Many thanks again!
