Frankfurt Public Transportation Day Pass

I'm having difficulty figuring how the fare system works for day passes in Frankfurt.

I'll be in Frankfurt this weekend and I'm interested in buying a day pass that will allow me to travel on public transport unlimited throughout Frankfurt city. I'm staying near Offenbach Kaiserlei S-Bahn station. On the RMV website or app journey planner it asks for 2 stations to be entered to get the fare choices. If I enter Kaiserlei and Frankfurt Hbf the results say a day ticket under the category "ohne Umweg" (without detour) the price is EUR 7.10 price category 3. Does this day pass allow me to travel anywhere within the Frankfurt 5000 fare zone or does the "without detour" mean I can only use it unlimited between the 2 stations I have selected? For a single ticket the without detour means you must travel between point A and point B the shortest possible way. Hence my confusion how this applies to day passes.

There is another category called "uber Offenbach" (via Offenbach) that costs EUR 12.30 price category 4. Does this one allow me to travel unlimited throughout fare zones Frankfurt 5000 and Offenback 3600?

Thanks in advance.

If you are staying at Kaiserlai, your day ticket will be 7.10 € if you do not go into Offenbach itself.
You are right on the border between these 2 cities. If you also wanted to go into Offenbach, you would need the ticket that costs 12.30€, but it sounds like you do not need to go that direction.

Get the 7.10€ ticket. Yes, you can use it all over Frankfurt. Trams, buses, U bahns and S bahns.

If you are here this weekend, the Museums Riverbank Fest starts on Fri. Get a button for 8€ and you can get into 27 museums all weekend starting at 15:00 on Fri. as well as the organ concerts in the churches on Sat. night and the choir concerts on Sun. Dragon boat races on Sat. and Sun. with fireworks Sunday night. They will have 400 stands and 12 music stages. This is one of the best festivals!

Thanks so much for answering my question and adding the info on the festival this weekend. I didn't know about it. Cheers.
