We will be arriving by train from Erfurt about 17:00 and will be flying out of the Frankfurt airport the next day, Saturday, at 14:25. Oringinally thought we would just stay at the airport, but after reading posts on this forum, I am thinking about staying in Hochst, or Romerberg, or Sachsenhausen. Looking for advice on a place with easy connections from the train station and to the airport as well as a place to stay under 100 euros. Thanks!

Do a quick search at booking.com to see availability and prices for your date. If there is a big trade show or convention when you are there, it could double prices.

Frankfurt itself is the obvious option, as it has the easiest airport connection and plenty to see. It sometimes gets a bad rap on this forum because a modern German city doesn't fit people's idea of quaint Germany, but it's got a cool culture and kicking back in a traditional Apfelwein pub eating gruenersosse is my idea of a lovely evening.
