Frankfurt Hotels - The Blasky hotel ?

Requesting recommendation for hotels in Frankfurt.
We are three adults (me, my wife and daughter)
Looking for good location (want to avoid main train station - red light dist), cleanliness, breakfast.

The Blasky Hotel - address:
43 Ziegelhüttenweg, Sachsenhausen, 60598 Frankfurt, Germany

If you have stayed here - can you share feedback please on the hotel, location, etc. ?

Thx

This puts you on the other side of the river and not very convenient to get to, though it looks nice.
Look around the Hauptwache area. Try Moxy, Ruby, Schopenhauer, or Flemings.

The RLD is only a 2 block by 2 block area and is easy to avoid.

Thanks Ms Jo.
But could not find anything amongst Moxy, Ruby, Schopenhauer, or Flemings

I found this hotel (though they have yet to confirm if they can accommodate 3 adults):
Lindner Hotel Frankfurt Hochst, part of JdV by Hyatt
Bolongarostr. 100, Höchst, 65929 Frankfurt, Germany

How is this location ?

Thx

Hi Ms Jo :

Just found this :
Residence Inn by Marriott Frankfurt City Center
Stiftstrasse 43, 60313 Frankfurt, Germany

Is this a good location ? Any feedback on the hotel itself - if anyone has stayed here ?

Thx

Go for the Residence Inn. It is right next to the Moxy and Flemings and 3 min. walk from the Hauptwache if you are taking an S-bahn from the airport.
I like Höchst, but it isn't very convenient and the train station is a bit of a walk.

Just a quick piggy-back off of this thread, we're a family of five (3 teenagers), staying in Frankfurt for the night before our flight leaves. Coming from Boppard so we can spend the whole day in Frankfurt. Two questions, first, if our flight leaves at 8:35 am what time do you suggest getting to the airport? Second, would all the hotels suggested above be good choices for our circumstance too? Or would some be a bit far from an S-bahn stop?

Any hotel close to the Hauptwache is easy to use to get to the airport. The S-8 and S-9 stop here every 15 min. and take about 15 min. to get to the airport.

That said, I think I would stay at an airport hotel if I had a flight at 08:35 going to the US. You should plan on being there 3 hours early. The only hotels at are really at the airport are the Hilton Garden Inn, the Hilton and the Marriott/Sheraton.

Another recommendation for Hilton Garden Inn at the airport. Skip the breakfast buffet (which might not even be open when you need to leave). Overpriced and uninspired. Loads of places to eat in/on the way to the terminal.
Three-hour advance time is no joke at FRA. We stood in line for AGES.

Ms Jo, and friends :

Our flight Frankfurt-SFO is at 1:30pm - so need to be there at 10:30am.
We will be staying at the Marriot Residence Inn as discussed above.

What time should be leave from the hotel using public transport ? I am guessing 930 am ?

Thx
