Flying out of Frankfurt and looking for recommendations for a hotel stay the night before our outbound Delta flight to the U.S., please. One member of the party has limited mobility, so will be using Uber or w wheelchair in the very early morning.

There are Marriott hotels actually in the airport. Well worth the money spent. Safe travels!

At the airport itself, there is Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton, and Marriott/Sheraton.
You will need to get to Terminal 2, so either with the free shuttle buses that run about every 10 min. from terminal 1 to terminal 2, or with the Sky Train. There are elevators for those.
Alternative is to stay at one of the many hotels in Gateway Gardens and take a taxi to the airport. Gateway Gardens is right next to the airport and is the location of the former housing area for Rhein-Main Airbase.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, chosen for its low rate. Don’t pay for the buffet breakfast.

I've also stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. It's about a five minute walk to the either the shuttle bus or the Skytrain.
However, if you want door to door service you are probably better off with an off airport hotel and a taxi to the terminal. Once at the terminal, you can be met with a wheelchair.
