My wife and I are traveling to Germany later this year. She has to use a CPAP machine and this is our first time flying internationally with it.. We've never had any trouble at security or the airline (we mostly fly with Delta and will be for this trip) when flying domestically with the machine. Am I right in saying that when we go through security in Frankfurt for our flight back to the U.S,. we should expect pretty much the same procedure with it as here in the States? Or is there, by chance, different procedures for things like that in Germany? Just trying to make sure we do things right as this will be our first time to visit Europe.

I cannot imagine that. But to be sure I'd write to the Federal Police at FRA airport:

I've carried my CPAP all over Europe and Russia. The only difference I've ever experienced is that European airports don't make a scene about it like some TSA employees in the USA. It's actually a lot easier to transport there than here.
