Hello,
I will be traveling to Frankfurt Airport in about a week looking forward to see my German Cousins. When I get off the plane in Frankfurt airport will I need to take a shuttle to get to the main terminal or will I just follow signs to the exit to the sidewalk where my cousin will be waiting for me.

As MarkK mentioned there are two terminals. You can be met at either. Make sure your cousins know if you are arriving at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.
You can google your flight and # now and know what terminal your flight arrives in. Airlines almost always use the same terminal unless there is some kind of problem. Your cousins will know where to meet you then.
Thank You All ... for your detailed responses. I now have a clear vision of what to expect. My close cousin is a traveler who knows the Frankfurt airport well and will be driving to the airport to pick me up. I now understand why I was thinking of a shuttle to the terminal. I am so excited for my travels next Wednesday to Germany!
