Frankfort to Strasbourg via bus

Arriving in Frankfort on Lufthansa Airlines at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. Apparently the best way to get to Strasbourg from there is the Lufthansa Express-one leaves at 11:00. Am I good timewise or should I book a later one? It looks like everything is in Terminal 1, but have not really had any experience with that airport. Thoughts?

1) Do you mean Frankfurt am Main airport, or do you really mean somewhere called Frankfort?

2) Where are you flying from? This is important as it decides (a) whether you have to go through immigration, and (b) if the flight is likely to be late.

90 minutes is tight. If this is an intra-Schengen Flight, no immigration and little risk of a late arrival, you may be able to make it. Otherwise it is too short for safety.
What are the rules for his bus? If you book it with your flight as a through trip, will Lufthansa allow you a free transfer to a later bus if you are late?

I don't know anything about the bus. How long does it take, and how often?

For comparison's sake, there is an hourly train from the long distance airport station at Frankfurt am Main to Strasbourg which takes just a few minutes more than 2 hours, with a change at Mannheim or Offenburg.

How does that compare with the bus?

I took that bus; I don't remember how long I had for the connection (at least two hours), but it was easy. The place where you get the bus is clearly labeled.

In my case, I was booked all on one ticket; my bus from FRA to Strasbourg was given a Lufthansa flight number. This meant that if my arriving plane was late and I missed my assigned bus, I would be put on a later one at no charge. See if you can add the Lufthansa bus to your flight, so that you are similarly "protected."

Check the "Conditions of carriage" at the bottom of this Lufthansa website:

3.2. Provided that a bus journey has not been booked in conjunction with a flight (than the flight rules are applicable), all bus transport changes (i.e. rebooking, cancellation, No-Show) are possible by paying a charge of 20.00EUR.

Since you are on a Lufthansa flight, they might waive that fee if the flight was late, causing you to miss the bus. Even better, use Harold's suggestion about adding the bus to the flight ticket. FWIW, the route web page specifies "- Always allow at least 60 minutes between flight and bus."

My educated guess is that you mean Frankfurt am Main and not Frankfort which is the capital of Kentucky. I would not book anything. Because if you miss your bus because of flight delay or immigration long wait (once it took me two hours to get through [in London]) you have to buy new ticket this time for full price. Rather than miss the bus or wait too long (if I give myself too much time) I buy my ticket when I arrive.
