We are travelling in October to Berlin and Prague and would love recommendations on food tours for these cities. Our food tour in Porto, Portugal was a highlight of our last vacation. We especially enjoy tours that showcase small regional restaurants that use locally sourced ingredients. Our preference is for group sizes of about 12-15.

Hi Nancy. Here's a website I researched that sounded like something I wanted to do. I, too, enjoy food tours and have taken several in European cities. Sadly, I wasn't able to go on this one as we just flat ran out of time! And this in spite of being in Berlin for 10 days! Anyway, you might want to check it out. It's definitely the one I would have taken had we alotted enough time. When doing my research online, I found several but this one sounded more like what I was looking for. There is a guy on the forum who routinely recommends this Berlin Mitte Food Tour. I'm going to do it in May based on his recommendation.
Context Travel offers the unique experience of cooking dinner with a refugee. I also have not done this yet, but will do it in the spring. It's certainly a more expensive experience, but I suspect much more enriching, too.
