We will be in Munich soon, returning to the US on December 16. We have a 7 AM flight - looking for suggestions for lodging the night before so we can lessen our stress at getting up in the middle of the night and getting to the airport.

There is a Hilton Airport in the airport, and it's not expensive. There's also a Novatel Hotel on the property. A number of accommodations are close to the airport, and can be seen on Google Maps for the Munich Airport.
We've stayed at the Hilton Munich Airport Hotel several times and couldn't have been more satisfied. All situations involved next day early flights. Very stress free to roll out of bed take the elevator down to main floor and walk into the appropriate terminal. Rooms were quite modern and comfortable.

We got a Hilton rate for one night of $106....had expected much higher as the Schiphol Hilton was over $400
