Looking for leads on flying within Germany. Maybe I ma searching wrong, but I was looking for train fares from Munich to Nuremburg (58 euros) then Nuremburg to Berlin, (125 Euros) I wondered if flying Munich - Berlin might be cheaper.

Train fares in Europe generally rise a lot as the travel date approaches. But then, so do airfares.
What are your travel dates?

The walk up 2nd class fare for the ICE from Munich to Nürnberg, which takes just over an hour is 57 euro.
If you take the slightly slower RE, which takes as little as 1hr 35 (normally 1hr 45), the discount fare (a Regio-Ticket München-Nürnberg) only cost 22 euro.
Flying Munich to Nürnberg can't be faster. It takes almost 40 minutes just to get to the airport in Munich - then check-in, security, pre-board, flight time, and getting from the Nürnberg airport to town.
Right now you can get tickets from Nürnberg to Berlin for less than two months from now for 29,90 euro per person. You probably need to get air tickets longer in advance than that for a good price.
