I've flown with the airline and it's reliable. Since budget airlines have such cheap flight prices, they make up for it by charging fees for violating baggage limits, and other things like that, so just read airlines' carry on limits and other restrictions well online so you're aware. I will sometimes check a bag (which I purchase as part of my initial booking online) on a little puddle jumper flight within Europe if the weigh or dimension limits are too strict.

If you fly from Schoenefeld airport, leave plenty of time. I flew out of there last week and the queues for security and passport control were extreme - they're trying to push too many flights through a terminal that is just too small.
