New flight connection between Lake Constance and Berlin, Hamburg and Düsseldorf

For travelers Lake Constance is far away from attractive destinations like Berlin, Hamburg or Ruhr area.
Air Uniqon, a new flight provider offers flights between Friedrichshafen and airports Berlin, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. The flights are operated by German airline Avanti Air.

Flights between Berlin and Friedrichshafen are offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flight time is around 90 minutes. The planes with propeller turbine have 78 seats.

Having flown the Q400-8 dozens of times; if you cannot get a seat in one on the first 3 rows, the next best place is the rear of the plane( last 2-3 rows) .

I have to laugh a bit at the "attractive" Ruhr.

But it's going to be commuter traffic for these flights. I fly inside of the EU, but most folks use the trains.

I understand your point, KGC. But how is the German saying: "die Schönheit liegt im Auge des Betrachters"?
OK, attractive is not beauty only ... it doesn't get better. So, just remember the Die Toten Hosen song "An Tagen wie diesen" including the mentioned Rheinterrassen.

In the YouTube video, "Die 10 häßlichsten Städte in Deutscland" (ugliest ) , 3 of the author's selections are Ruhr cities: (not surprising): Hagen, Gelsenkirchen, Duisburg, ....all rather grim, all would be labeled here "blue-collar " (Arbeiterstädte)

I've been to only one of them, Duisburg, in the summer of 1999 , not to see the Zentrum which has that ugly early 1960 Wiederaufbau rebuilding architecture style but to an important museum connected to Prussian-German history , "Haus Koenigsberg" focusing on the ruling dynasty.

That museum no longer exists in Duisburg. Even train stations go, I didn't even like the atmosphere and vibes in Duisburg Hbf.
